Classic Wheeling Restaurant. Great food and wonderful staff. They're well-known for their flaming saganaki. I've been a patron since 1980! I recall when they were constructing the restaurant; it was just gravel and steel beams back then. The place has a very cozy atmosphere.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The soup was outstanding, and I really enjoyed the creamy garlic dressing on the salad, although I would have liked to see more than just one cherry tomato! The dinner included soup, salad, and dessert, and the pacing of the courses was just right—not too fast and not too slow. The cozy booths made it a comfortable space for me to dine alone without feeling like I was imposing. There’s also a bar in another room that has special offers and karaoke on certain nights. I definitely plan to return!
I was pleasantly surprised by the ample portion sizes and the high quality of the food. You'll definitely leave this place satisfied! The ambiance has a nostalgic diner feel, with decor reminiscent of the 1980s. While you might come across a few people with outdated opinions, the overall atmosphere is warm and inviting.
Exceptional food for the price! Everything is fantastic. Bar None Bakery offers the finest pies in the Midwest, along with incredibly delicious cheesecakes and unbeatable éclairs. The caramel nut apples are simply unbelievable! The portion sizes are generous, and the quality of the ingredients sets Market Square apart from the competition. Recently, I enjoyed a wild salmon dish, a flavorful Greek salad, and a delightful chicken cream soup, followed by chocolate chip cookies that provided the perfect sweet finish—just the way Market Square does it! Everything is fresh! Thank you, Sammy!
