This is one of the best coffee houses in Wheeling! Always look forward to having their hot vanilla latte or traditional Indian chai . They also have milk alternatives. Lastly they have great indoor seating. They also offer board games you can play while sipping on coffee View all feedback.
What Jane Osher doesn't like about Coffeessions, Coffeehouse And Winebar:
Coffee was bitter, menu was unclear (had to ask about dairy-free milks, which they did have but not advertised , overall experience was confusing. The staff working were new and uneducated on the menu/flow needing more support. They told us that the lavender tea had caffeine (which is should not and that the black tea was decaf (which is typically isn't... . View all feedback.
Coffee was good but not great, vibes were a little off. Would only come back if I needed the coffee.
Nice little local cafe with nice food options. Great meeting area you can RSVP! Does get crowded around noon. Always check their hours on the weekend.
I've been going to this place on and off for the past 2 or 3 years. They're chocolate milkshake is amazing. Perfectly blended and tastes like the ones my grandma used to make (not kidding, they really do taste amazing)The food is a tad pricy, BUT definitely worth it.Ambience is calm and relaxing. There's books you can read while you eat, and even a selection of table games.Real nice place to relax, unwind, and currently, to check out some art in their Blue Room!
A neat coffee house with a bit of everything. On the menu they have a good assortment of drinks from coffee to tea to smoothies to wine! In terms of food they also have everything from pastry to breakfast to sandwiches, though unfortunately the kitchen was closed temporarily during my visit. What really makes this stand out from other local places is the amount of socialization opportunities they have here. They have books, art, music, board games, etc. and from the calendar, I saw that there is a fairly good number of regular events that happen here as well. Overall, this place has a cool vibe to it with fair prices and friendly staff. I'll be certain to visit here again in the near future to experience some of the social activities!
We came in for the first time a few weeks ago and we loved it.I came in with my husband (just to try it out), and we both loved it. We were helped by a younger barista (she said she was in high school), and it was honestly the best part of our visit. She was very nice, bubbly, and the coffee she made was great too. She answered all of our questions, and made us feel so welcome. My drink came with whipped cream, but my husband's did not, and so, like a child, my husband went and asked for a cup of whipped cream because he wanted some too. Not only did she give him whipped cream, she put it in this cute little glass bowl, sprinkled some chocolate bits and chocolate syrup on it. She gave us little spoons for it too (which was the best part). I have never felt so welcome by any worker at a coffee shop before. She really highlighted the best parts about supporting a local business. I was excited to see posters from the local high school, a local writer's book, and I would love to see more small business items at this coffee shop.Only reason that I did not give a five star review is because the menu was a little confusing. I could not access the digital menu (I needed permission to access it and the worker wasn't able to help me with that). I wish that the milk alternatives were listed on the menu and that I could read what each food item included in it.Will definitely be coming again
