My wife had the salmon which was very good (my word; my wife would say it was amazing . I had the Rock fish shrimp it was simply exquisite. Both meals were served with very nicely prepared fresh local veggies amazing mashed potatoes ... neither of us are big fans of mashed potatoes yet we both commented on how good they were (not to mention we both cleaned our plates . Service was friendly excellent. If you're on the Oregon Coast between Cannon Beach Garibaldi, head to the Rising Star for superb food bursting with fantastic flavors in every bite. Thanks for a memorable anniversary dinner. (We had such a great time fantastic food, we came back the next morning for Brunch which was equally delicious!

We decided to look up restaurants on our way home from Rockaway Beach and were starving! Lol I saw a glimpse of delicious food photos on Yelp and we decided to swing in and eat here. What an unexpected surprise! The staff was so kind and inviting. The music made us just want to stay and relax and enjoy some more! And oh the incredible food! (I'm almost drooling thinking about it again) What a masterpiece. This isn't one of those places where they pile your plate high with slop so you can slather it in syrup or gravy. Appropriate portions and each bite is absolutely savored and enjoyed. I will definitely be back the next time we're in the area. Yum yum yum!
