I've also tried t... read more This is one of my favorite ramen spots in Montgomery County. Most of their ramen dishes are really good, but my top choice is the shoyu ramen. I've also tried their stamina ramen, spicy miso ramen, and chanpon ramen, all of which were delicious. I have noticed that sometimes the food can be a bit saltier than usual, but it's generally fine. Parking here can be a challenge, and the neighborhood feels a bit sketchy, so be cautious about where you park. During my last visit, they were only accepting cash, which may have been a temporary issue.

We came in at the tail end of their lunch hours. One of us got the Tonshio with an egg, and the other got the vegetarian miso omori with an egg. Service was great and polite, the broths were excellent, the noodles and fixings were perfect, and we left satisfied but not overly stuffed. Highly recommend!

I saw the Japanese imperial flag last time I went in 2020 and next to it was pamphlets about how all the things Japanese imperial government did was a lie to su... read more I saw the Japanese imperial flag last time I went in 2020 and next to it was pamphlets about how all the things Japanese imperial government did was a lie to suppress Japan and its people, comfort women, camp, and etc. I spoke to the owner/manager and they said they did not know what it was and that they would remove it. But I still did not actively go back as I was repulsed by the whole incident. FYI: Japanese imperialist flag, considered to be the Nazi flag of Korea, China, and others in East and Southeast Asia. I was with groups of people who wanted to eat there, so I followed. And was really upset to see that it was still there. The food is good(not great), but the portion size and quality was different from last time I had it in 2020. There are other, non-imperialist, Japanese Ramen shop that are better in DMV.
