Baja Fresh Mexican Grill - Wheaton

It appeared to be clean not too busy. Cashier was nice and our order was served quickly. It wasn't very hot though..... also the Sprite was pink. No explanation when I brought it to their attention.

About two years ago the Costco near this Baja Fresh in Wheaton was selling Baja Fresh gift cards at a discount. The Wheaton Baja Fresh refused to accept giftcards for months during this sale, siting a broken gift card machine which you can see in these reviews. The store committed fraud. 0/10, it never got shutdown but hopefully covid puts it out of business. No complaint against corporate Baja Fresh, just this specific store and manager at the time.

This Baja Fresh is well maintained. The staff is friendly and interacts with customers instead of just taking food orders. The bathroom is clean and stocked with soap and toilet paper indicating that the staff maintains a healthy environment. Even when close to closing, the staff makes you feel welcome. I'd recommend the Baja Fresh over any other location in the immediate area.

First time here... It was pretty good... Got the shrimp and steak fajitas... The shrimp were seasoned PERFECTLY!! ???????????????? The steak on the other hand was BLAND and tender chewy if you know what I mean)..

I found it incredibly cold at this restaurant. As soon as I sat down to eat, I was greeted by a chilling draft. They had a space heater, but it really did nothing to warm the room—like trying to stay warm with just a mitten in a blizzard! ?? The food itself was decent, but the fish seemed more processed than before, showcasing uniform grill marks and identical sizes, among other things.
