If you're looking for a wonderful culinary experience in a laid-back setting, Tisch13 is the perfect spot for you! The food is all plant-based and incredibly delicious, accompanied by carefully selected biodynamic and organic wine pairings that truly enhance the flavors. The menu changes monthly and offers surprising combinations of aromas and textures. One standout dish was the "Fish" taco made with banana flowers - the crispy shell and seaweed filling were simply outstanding. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with the owner Georgia making you feel right at home. She is knowledgeable about the food and wine and takes the time to explain each dish and wine pairing. This is by far the best vegan restaurant in Oxford. I can't wait to return for another delightful and enriching dining experience. Thank you!
This restaurant provides a unique and intimate culinary experience. Table 13 is located in an open, residential kitchen where the chef prepares a meal course for up to 10 people individually. Each dish is presented with the chef describing the ingredients and flavors, along with a drink that pairs perfectly with it. Many of the ingredients are sourced locally from artisans or hand-picked by the restaurant. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options are available upon request. Guests will share the table with others, but can engage in their own conversations and connect with fellow diners to discuss the incredible and thoughtfully crafted dishes. Overall, it is a special experience and offers great value for the quality of food and drinks provided.
