I had Sunday lunch here after the Remembrance Service at the church. I really enjoyed the service and the quality of my beef with Yorkshire puddings. One of the best I have ever tasted. Went for something to eat (evening) starters were fine. Ordered two medium rare rump steaks for me and the wife. The wife's was fine however mine was very rare and full of fat and grissle. I was offered a free beer as a form of compensation. Shame really. Won't be returning sadly. The staff were very friendly. Came in for a drink tonight...9.50pm..was told they had stopped serving....website advertising open until 11...bar was full, open mic night in full swing...was it because we aren't local we couldn't get a drink? Service: 1
