Beautiful if you look down you can see a rainbow! And the little walk to the bottom may have alot of stairs but well worth it. Very quiet little spot with public toilets but no drinking water. View all feedback.
The area above the falls is well looked after with lots of green space and new trees planted with picnic tables in the area. A good path down to the bottom of the falls and then up the other side. Well worth a visit and right by the parking area.
Beautiful walk. Dogs allowed on leash. Pick up it’s poop though !! Probably tough for anyone that struggles walking too far. Total distance is maybe 1km but it’s a reasonably steep track down to the base of the falls and an back up the other side. If you have a strong person the parking lot side track down is possible in a wheelchair. It is gravel so probably a good slog to push the wheelchair back up if the passenger is “heavy” Very impressive waterfall though and in some awesome NZ bush
Lovely walk from the town Marina up to the falls! Walking through pristine old and young Kauri forest. Falls can be observed from all sides as there is a little loop trail available. Parking on top of the falls recommended especially for older and handicapped people who need wheelchair access.
Beautiful falls. We did the Falls Loop Track and it was very nice. It is a easy walk and took about 30 minutos with a lot of stops for photos and to contemplate the nature. Defined recommended.
Lovely spot for a break or picnic. Quite an awesome waterfall with nice grounds around it. Also have a memorial tree garden to remember the victims of the mosque massacre.
