It's easy to find, an... read more A convenient stop on the way from Hawke's Bay to New Plymouth. There are plenty of ducks that follow you around, especially near the café. It's easy to find, and they offer typical cabinet food along with excellent coffee. You can sit outside in the sunshine under an umbrella, enjoy the view, and have the ducks by your side. It's a great spot to visit during your travels!

The blueberry and white chocolate muffins are the best we've ever tasted. We will definitely be returning!

Staff are always chipper and helpful, love seeing own... read more Our go-to family spot when we're in Whanganui, the coffee is always excellent, perfect after a long drive. Staff are always chipper and helpful, love seeing owners having an active hand in the day to day operation! Food is a bit hit and miss, but generally well presented and good options available. Interior is a bit dated, furniture could do with some maintenance(hard to find an outdoor chair that wasn't messed, for a location next to a lake it may be worth switching to plastic furniture). Overall would reccomend.
