We wandered in off the street and were welcomed warmly. The food was fresh and delicious. Service was prompt and attentive. Would definitely return here again when visiting Whakatane. This restaurant no longer exists but apparently takes reservations on Google. We booked for our daughter's birthday and were very disappointed that it is now a different restaurant with an awful menu. View all feedback.
Lovely evening enjoyed by our group of 20 something people including a young lady from macaw. staff very friendly . hats off to the chef who handled cooking all the meals on his own owing to being short handed. his assistant was very good too and the meals arrived looking yummy. would certainly go again next time im in whakatane.
I had a beautiful sesame coriander lamb curry that was probably the best Sri Lankan curry I have had to date. I only had it mild as I don't like hot curries and it was perfect. Awesome staff, very friendly, lovely dinning experience.
We went to Babinka with a toddler, the wait staff went above what any other place we have taken her to has done to assist with keeping her entertained and happy. It made the visit far more relaxing, thank you!! The food was nice too.

We stopped in for dinner on Sunday 8th Jan and had the most delicious and entertaining evening. The food was amazing and very authentic and the service was great. Thank you Coraline and to Sam for looking after us and for all the laughs! Highly recommend this restaurant in the heart of Whakatane!
