Stacey's Fish And Chip Shop

The chips were deliciously crispy but cold. The haddock was disappointing, lacking in flavor, but the cod was tasty. The peas were average. The battered sausage was small but delicious.

Nice clean fish and chip shop. Thought we'd give the Hoki a try and although the batter was lovely and crisp I did find the fish rather dry and chewy. The chips were also quite dry, they had the taste and texture of having sat keeping warm while the fish was being freshly cooked. Reasonable prices.

Went to this chip shop by accident. Was going to a different one but took the wrong turn and saw this one so stopped. Glad I did! Fish, chips and burger was all lovely. Would use again if I’m in the area

A cozy looking fish chip shop that is ideally situated for both Haven caravan holiday parks, as well as for people who live nearby or who are just simply travelling through want something hot to eat, a good menu including cod, haddock hake, pies, fishcakes, battered sausages as well as mushy peas, curry sauce cans of drinks, I had a portion of chips on my 1st visit which were so delicious but such a tiny portion size and on my 2nd a meal of cod chips with mushy peas to take back to my caravan which was equally tasty, overall a good place to eat.

I was staying nearby with my wife and decided to get some fish and chips one evening to take back to our rental cottage and chose this one as it was the closest. What a huge disappointment. The food was clearly not recently cooked. The fish was very dry and cold as were the chips. A very poor experience.
