We almost drove passed without seeing this great little eatery but ever so grateful we never . A few tables outside and a couple inside (both options depending on weather) everything you could want to eat from a salad box to a full breakfast torpedo. Nothing was too much trouble and very reasonably priced. Keep your eyes peeled when on route to Portland lighthouse (in Easton) View all feedback.
What shirleynorthover doesn't like about Miss Piggys Pantry:
Went here for a quick bite in adjourning cafe. Lady serving was really nice. Ordered two small breakfasts but goodness me never been served such dirty food. Definitely needs to clean their equipment, griddle or frying pan, the eggs was black and hard so was bacon, fried bread greasy. We just laughed when we saw state of it but most people would of took it back. Needs to take more pride in what they serve. Didn't comp... View all feedback.
On November 1st, 2021, we stumbled upon Miss Piggy's and we are grateful that we did. The staff was incredibly friendly and the value for money was outstanding. The breakfast roll, specifically the Quarryman's, was the best I have ever tasted. It was so big that I almost couldn't finish it. The bread was fresh and cooked to order. I also tried a Portland dough ball, which I warmed up at home and absolutely loved. The prices were very affordable. I highly recommend this place and cannot fault it. We are planning to visit the island again tomorrow to walk the Coastal Path, but we have already made arrangements to detour into Miss Piggy's to refuel. We wouldn't miss it for anything while we are so close by. Thank you to the ladies at Miss Piggy's, you deserve all the success in your business.
I went to the restaurant at 11:15 to get some takeout rolls for lunch. I was the only customer there, but someone else came in later for a sausage roll. Unfortunately, there was a very limited selection of ingredients - no tomato, cucumber, coleslaw, and only a small amount of onion. It was surprising considering how close the restaurant is to a supermarket. A staff member had to leave to buy some salad ingredients, using money from the till. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and may suggest that the restaurant has little competition or was just having a bad day.
Oh my goodness! I just tried a gyro from Miss Peggy's and it was the most delicious thing I've ever eaten! If you're looking for a satisfying lunch, this is the place to go. It's a refreshing change from the standard lunches you find elsewhere - if you go anywhere else, you must be out of your mind! You have to try one, they are truly the best. And let's not even get started on the incredible cakes.
Miss Piggy’s is an essential pit stop if you are in the area. It is a sandwich shop/bakery kind of deal which is perfect for lunch before a stroll around the island. I opted for a breakfast style roll which was perfect! Very nice bacon and sausage in a homemade roll. I got my partner a ploughman’s which looked amazing and the staff even cooked up a sausage for my German Shepherd puppy. Two rolls with two drinks came to £8 odd, so incredible value for money! Miss Piggy’s is yet another addition to our list for when we make our visits to the area.
