Bennet's is a real -deal chippy, freshness is guaranteed as its right on the harbour. There’s also a full menu of exciting things to try too. We had large cod and chips and the size of the fish was massive! Our lovely waitress , Georgia was super attentive and friendly as were the owners, a proper family run business. we were only in Weymouth for a few days down from London) but we will definitely be visiting Bennet'... What Antony P doesn't like about Bennett's Fish Chips:
Before ordering from this restaurant, I advise you to read the reviews. The food quality was terrible and it was delivered cold. It was a complete waste of money! I will not be ordering from here again. View all feedback.
Really glad that I enjoyed bennett’s fish and chips in weymouth, I ordered chicken nuggets and chips. the chips were very tasty and full color. the nuggets seem a thick layer of batteries to them and are delightful. the staff seems very friendly. if they plan to get a table, there are limited seating inside and more outside, but during the midday it becomes very popular and sitting opportunities fills up quickly. Overall, I am really impressed by the quality of the food I received. if they are in tune for fish and chips or what not. test bennetts fish and chips.
I was looking for a local highly rated chip shop and ended here. pricey, but everything is at the moment. that were only medium-sized fish, as the big giant and too big were for us. all very delicious, chips spot on, fish good and curry beautiful. the shells for the tartaric acid sauce were a nice note. would definitely return.
Lovely food. Highly recommended if your in the area and wish to have fish chips.
Had a beautiful evening sat on the harbour wall with a Bennett’s takeaway. Scampi is absolutely delicious and always plenty of chips to be had. I’d say the best Fish and Chip shop in town.
Had lovely fish chips and tempura battered prawns , sat outside in the winter sun on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Delicious!
