Ray's - Wexford

If you need food after a night out its fairly good! Will say portion sizes are terrible. Last time I was here I ordered a spice box came to about €8 and what I got was a box with a handful of chips with two chicken tenders ripped up! No veggies typically in a spice box and not much “spice” very disappointing!!

Popped into Ray's earlier this evening for a sweet treat and the staff member who served our ice-cream was extremely competent and served a delightful combo of toffee and chocolate topped off with oreo flakes. Well worth a visit.

When we visit Wexford town, we often choose to eat at Ray's because of its quick and straightforward menu. The veggie wrap was packed full of vegetables, so much so that I had to eat it with a fork instead of holding it. The portion size was very generous, and I couldn't finish it all. However, I did find the price to be a bit high for what was offered.

I have visited this restaurant a few times after long days at the beach. Despite it being late, the food was still perfect. Everything was fresh, delicious, and well-prepared. The chips were warm, crunchy, not greasy, and the portions were very generous. The staff was friendly and professional.
