What an absolute gem of a place! Everything was incredible all of the prices are more than extremely reasonable for true authentic Cape seafood! Scallops were to die for as well as the baked haddock. Will be making this a regular stop on our summer cape trips! Also had the pleasure of meeting the owner and getting to speak for a few, he was great. I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place can’t wait t... View all feedback.
What Diane M doesn't like about Lobster Pot:
Don’t buy the oysters!! I love them and get them when I can. Wasted 35.00. Tasted like pond water and do salt it burned my lips. Not fresh at all. Ate two out of a dozen couldn’t eat another one without throwing up. View all feedback.
Friendly people. This place has been open for years and I always get a 3lb lobster.
I honestly have no clue how the place has a 4 star rating. We order some food on the way back home and we're so disappointed. Where to start! We ordered a cup of clam chowder and a seafood platter. For starters the pri e was $10 more than what was on the menu, a total of $47 for these 2 items, before tip. The clam chowder was flavorless. Little to no clams or potatoes. The seafood platter was a joke. 1 HALF a piece of fishmaybe the size of the palm of my hand, 3 shrimp. 3 scallops and maybe a dozen fried clam pieces. Still no flavor, no sure they can even spell the word seasonings and the fries was soggy. It messed up when the best part of the meal was the coleslaw and even that was warm. Idk if they had a bad day or what but a seafood restaurant near Cape cod that can't make seafood correctly shouldn't be popular or even allowed to be open
Delicious lobster roll, crispy whole belly clams, creamy clam chowder (though it needed a lot of salt). Lo-Fi place, counter order, with indoor outdoor seating. Only downside is insane prices (which is why 4 stars not 5). $110 for two people. 10 whole belly clams were $30. Lobster roll was $36. Fried fish dinner was $20. But pound for pound, best variety of seafood both fried and broiled to bring someone for a taste of the east coast.
I have been stopping by the Lobster Pot since the 1980's
Great food, good portions and FRESH. My favorite seafood spot.
