We had dinner here in May on a bicycle trip and it was a very charming place to eat. We had spargel and lachs and it was delicious. Service was prompt and friendly. Setting was quiet, we could converse without shouting. It is in the historic center of Wetzlar in a charming old building. View all feedback.
What Bernard Gerlach doesn't like about Landsknecht:
I went abroad with my friends to the restaurants that wanted to taste regional cuisine. We ordered a carving with garden vegetables and baked potatoes. The Schnitzel consisted of a chewing Bram that was hit with a bunch of frozen soup vegetables with rubbed toes... above. Potatoes were not baked oven, but roasted deep. The only bright side of this glittering culinary experience was a waiter who was very nice and help... View all feedback.

An absolutely cosy and friendly restaurant that we always go to when we are visiting Wetzlar. The restaurant is located on the beautiful Kornmarkt with dining possible inside and in the market place. The food comes in generous portions and is delicious. The staff are great hosts and delightfully friendly.
This restaurant was on my list of places to eat after reviewing Tripadvisor so we headed there first thing. The food was big, delicious, and quite reasonably priced. I had an appetizer of "hand cheese" with bread which was quite good. Dinner was wild pork goulasch that was delicious. My wife went with just a huge baked potato stuffed with quark (like cream cheese and creme fraisch) and smoked salmon. We left the restaurant stuffed and content. I'd definitely return to this restaurant!
Beautiful ambience from a rural snowy season small pacious restaurant where you still have at home cooking and dishes like you did not eat otherwise the service has friendly and attentive all well and tasty
A little hidden in the old town is the country's snow. A small card with super delicious and absolutely fresh dishes. Each carving is freshly knocked and panned. The food takes a little longer, it is fresh and tasty. Up. The portions are sufficient and the price-performance ratio is pointed. The service is courteous and attentive, the staff very friendly. There are always creative ideas, such as a black beer bowl (picture). Great. In summer there is a great beer garden in the middle of the old town.
