They add a spice that makes it delish. Saturday evening at 18:30 place was BUSY but we have a table happy. Does not know how to cope with demand in winter, because there are extremely limited interior seats. The staff works very hard in the face of constant customer traffic.

The menu indeed looks very promising too, especially as they have a pulled pork burger on it. Everyone who had enjoyed a great pulled pork burger before will be able to sympathize with me, what I was hoping to receive. Delicate, juicy and tasty meat between two buns with some extras. As you can pimp your burger with many extras (with additional charge) I added an extra egg (CHF 2.50) to my burger. Considering the people ordering before we did, we did not have to wait very long. I think it was something between 15 25 mins, which is acceptable even for burger menus. However, what's not acceptable is the disappointment I was experiencing with my first bites. A rather dry meat drowned in, I assume it was supposed to be a BBQ sauce, on the sweet side fluid. Obviously that's one one to give your burgers flavor, but certainly not the one I was looking forward. A quality pulled pork burger does not need a lot extra sauce. The meat is supposed to have an excellent tast of its own. The assumption is obvious, that the pulled pork is most likely bought ready made. Which I kind of understand, as prepare pulled pork is quite an effort and needs also some talent. Anyhow, the question would remain, if you really need to have a pulled pork burger on your menu, when you don't have the intention to serve homemade meat. The coleslaw too, seems to be canned quality (at least it made the impression to me). Pale in taste and color also drowned in a white watery dressing free of anything like herbs, peppers or mustard. I know, coleslaw seems pretty simple to prepare, but it's not always. Especially, when you have to make it well in advance (mise en place) before serving. Throughout the day the cabbage will make the sauce even more diluted. Glimpsing to other tables, guests and their burgers, I concluded, the patty meat ratio was also off. Meaning the bun (in diameter) was significantly bigger than the meat patty. Is there an optimization of profits in the process? Recurrence? No NPS (net promoter score): 1 3 at least for the pulled pork burger. However the quality of the sides as described and the bites I had from my entourage, suggests that all other burgers will have the same quality (aka passion for ingredients and food in general). Therefore, overall the NPS of max. 6 (still detractors level) could be awarded. Price: 3 Burgers with little pimping, 3 Sides and 3 home made teas was something around 85 CHF. Personally I think for burger dishes, that's not really a steal!

Both... read more The restaurant is located in front of Manor. The burgers range from 12 CHF and upward. 7 CHF extra for a meal. We tried the classic and a pulled pork one. Both were good. You order by the counter and the burgers are served at the table. It is a nice and relaxed place
