The Lake Cookhouse

I visited this restaurant for three evenings for my evening meal and glass of red. Emily a lovely young lady served me two out of the three evenings, and I was greeted with a smile, as if I were a regular.I love a good Greek salad and this one satisfies and no lettuce as filler! The lobster ravioli was AWESOME!! It was not a busy place, but I was never neglected or ignored, check this place out, the food is good, the smiles are genuine and I will visit again!!

My wife had hoped to have the stir fry but they were out but they were very accommodating to food sensitivities in figuring out an alternative. I had the steak which was ok (not stellar). The staff was very friendly.

I ate here with my family of 9 members including 2 children the week before last on a visit to the Lake. We were all hungry after a day spent at the Lake, but had to wait over half an hour for some of the food to arrive. 2 dishes arrived and then we had a 15 minute wait for the next dishes to come through, which was very disappointing, especially as two of the dishes were exactly the same, so how come they came out with 15 minutes between them? The food was only luke ward too, so a very disappointing visit. I would not visit again, which is a shame as the front of house staff seemed very friendly, but they need to do something about the service.

The food was very good and I really enjoyed our server as she was very helpful and extremely efficient.

Worst restaurant I have ever eaten at, food was disgusting, small portion size, way over prices, crappy customer service and filthy décor.
