Good quality place. The food is rooted in authenticity, but has some nice nuances of their own. The Samosa Chat is very similar to what I used to get out of the cart when I worked abroad. Still looking for that magic bowl of chole that reminds me of the street vendor variety. The vindaloo was amazing. The Gosht was very flavorful and the lamb was the perfect texture and thickness. I like it thinner like gyro meat. Th... View all feedback.

We ate here tonight. And they are not disappointed! If you are really looking for authentic Indian food Downtown Dhaba is the place to go! The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable for any court. I was delighted that they were gluten-free meals (I have celiac disease) they were very attentive to my needs. Can't wait to go back! Please visit this place! Can't wait until they get their lunch buffet back. Thanks Downtown Dhaba for your great service!
Update: Apr 10, 2022 Buffet is back! We went to the DD for the first time after the start of the pandemic and were so happy to see that they had their buffet section for weekend lunch. Their buffet items were top-notch, everything tasted delicious. They had chicken biryani, crushed eggplant, wiper tikka masala, fish, lamb, chicken tikka masala and Tandoori chicken. The items were freshly cooked and kept warm. Very glad to see that DD survived through the pandemic and returned to his old groove. Become a regular here when I need to calm down my Indian food wishes. ——————————————————————— Great interior, wonderful service. They are well prepared. We went to the buffet during lunchtime. Options include chicken biryani, goat curry, fish curry, chicken tikka masala. There were bright wipers, Daal for vegetarian option.
Updating my first review below. The food here is fantastic. For me, her Aloo Gobi is really the perfect dish I've been looking for for for many years. I love it. I also love their homemade hot sauce. Five stars. Very good Indian food. I asked him sharply, but not to killer, and they nailed it right. Aloo Gobi, potatoes and cauliflowers had a very nice amount of spicy green chillies in it. The yellow sound was very good. Cauliflower Manchurian was average, but I got out so it might be better. I asked about the hot sauce, it was really good. Spicy, but not overwhelming again. The Samosa were also kind of average. A total of 5 stars and I would certainly return and try a few different things.
Super delicious, very friendly staff and authentic food. Anyway, it'll be back.
