Had a good meal here last Saturday with my boyfriend. Aside from the place being absolutely freezing, everything was great. I ordered the Jackpot Omelette which came with toast and home fries and he ordered the stuffed french toast which he said was delicious. Service was good too. Would come back again! What Mark Tifer doesn't like about Piston Diner:
As a rule of thumb, no state does Diners better then Jersey and let it be known I'm from Delaware) So me and a few friend on the way to another place decided to stop at the first diner we saw when we got off exit. Was not impressed with the place. Food was fine but service was slow and there wasn't enough business to justify that. When you have to ask for them to top your coffee off or some napkins, we have a problem.... View all feedback.
This is my husband and I?s favorite diner in the Gloucester county area. I love the owner he?s very nice and playful. Food is always on point. The country fried steak breakfast platter is amazing and I love her home fries with your extra crispy. It?s a small little diner for the locals and I love that a hidden little gem! We love this place! My son always looks forward towards their fluffy pancakes! THE MEATLOAF IS 10 out of 10!
This is a fantastic diner! Clean, great coffee and service. I had the pancakes. Not bad, sort of commercialized, but the soup was great and my friend had a fantastic reuben
Great place to go and have a cheap meal that tastes good. The employees there are friendly. Not sure if they sell alcohol or not but still the soda taste good. But it's kinda small, but yet roomy at the same time.
The Piston Diner is one of my favorite restaurants. They have a wide variety of menu options, as well as friendly and efficient staff. They have worked very hard to keep their prices affordable without losing quality. If you're in the area I'm looking for a good quick bite this is the place to go.
It always feels like a small hometown diner to me. I'm not a true regular but judging by the way people greet each other there, it truly is homey. And eventhough I'm not a true regular, the staff and management make you feel very welcomed. Our server Jackie was the best. She's funny, attentive, entertaining and a very real person. And she's a great server too. The prices are reasonable and the food is good.
