A little gem of a pub located behind the main stretch of the seafront, often missed. Obviously a locals pub but definitely a good thing. The landlord has a keen eye for quality and service which reflects in the beer and service on offer. Very friendly environment and welcoming. They have events and entertainment on offer. I would thoroughly recommend popping in! I'm very glad I have View all feedback.
What Sarah H doesn't like about The Criterion:
Staff were friendly and welcoming.. Wasn't for us but personal choice of others.. Just on a back street in Weston-super-Mare about 5 minutes walk from the beach near the lifeboat launch View all feedback.
We had a couple drinks here at a great local pub, good beer.
Excellent hostelry with a number of well kept ales.Vibrant atmosphere and warm welcome.
A great pub with lovely bar staff. Went there to watch a six nations game and everyone was very welcoming.
Really cosey pub with a decent selection of ales and ciders and hosts some wonderful woofties aka dog friendly.
A proper pub with good beers.Always worth a visit if you're in the area.
