Summit Winery - Westmoreland

Great place to make new friends and have a tasting as well!! Awesome views of Mount Stratten in Vermont! Easy to get to! Very pleasant and friendly staff! It's definitely worth a visit!!

Was a beautiful location and nice winery. However the service wasn't very nice, the my didn't even say thanks, kinda felt like we were annoying them by coming to try the wine? We tried a flight, most wines were pretty good. Overall experience wasn't the best unfortunately..

We just moved to the area last week. This is a nice looking place and initial service was fine. Some of the wines were enjoyable (we got a flight). We were planning on buying a bottle of their version of chianti as we enjoyed that. However we were completely ignored for about 20 minutes following our empty tasting flight. People to the immediate left and right of us were served while we sat with empty flight. We were essentially one of the last people left sitting at the bar at the time (literally 2 other people at that moment) after those around us left. At about the 20 minute mark (yes, I was keeping track) my wife and I decided to leave. As an industry person, I'm rather disappointed.

Very nice place inside, but we did not enjoy many of the wines. Worth the trip to try but enjoyed other wineries in the area more.

The pros: patio with excellent views, very spacious indoor tasting area, wonderful staff. The cons: the wine is ok, but nothing outstanding. We will likely be back for the good atmosphere.
