Best coffee bar in the area. Good selection of local coffee. Standard Grill is delicious, I really enjoyed the Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich. House salad was really good, had handmade crouton. Seafood/Butcher section is really good. Overall, a great place to go for a Saturday brunch Would appreciate covered bike parking for my grocery trips and visits to the coffee shop. View all feedback.
What Nellie P doesn't like about Standard Market:
I’d been here multiple times before the pandemic so I was excited to come back but our food was mediocre at best. The Buddha bowl was terrible. There was so much sauce and so much red bell peppers. A few other veggies but it was too saucy and did not taste good. The Cobb salad was okay. The only good thing we had was the drip coffee! View all feedback.
Always love going to Standard Market when we are visiting our family in Hinsdale. The selection of premade snacks and dinner items is outstanding. Had a delicious chicken pot pie last night! Always find lots to buy/eat when there. PS this is the third day in a row. So good!!
Avoid. Mediocre meal for $19 — only a half container of slaw and not enough BBQ sauce to coat the pork.

We have been customers for a long time. After checking out today, my special grocery bag was full of tomato sauce. Terrible packing that ruined my bag and I ended up washing various items at home. Customer service had a terrible attitude, not sorry and said the most they can do is a $10 gift card. My suggestion was to train the personnel, I do not care about $10. However, great/prompt response from Jarred, who offered to replace the damaged goods and addressed my concerns.
