Wow! I’m really at a loss for how to convey my disappointment with the food here. The atmosphere is lovely, and the beer is great, but the food, which used to be decent, has gone downhill. The prices are outrageous now! I used to always get the tender basket, which my daughter loved and thought was delicious. However, when I ordered it tonight, it was absolutely terrible. Really great spot for drinks AND food. The food was honestly unexpectedly incredible. We had the burger and the pesto pizza/flatbread and both were tasty. The sweet potato fries were also sneaky good. There’s a huge seating area outside, and they have darts, live music and seating and inside.
Turn the bands, the line for the bar is wrapped around the place. Why are they so stupid and not open up other small mini bars to help everyone not wait in line.
Great beers are a given, but the FOOD was surprisingly excellent. Pulled pork, burgers and fries, brisket, mac n cheese and fried pickels; everything was incredibly tasty.
Labor Day was packed with my little friend Takoda fun time indeed!
