Taco Surf - Westminster

The food is fantastic and the vibe has a laid-back Mexican surf theme. It's located off the 405, but not a lot of people seem to know about it. I have mixed feelings; on one hand, it's great that we can visit anytime without a long wait, but on the other, I hope they thrive. I celebrated my birthday dinner in the round room, which was really nice. It's great to have a private space where we didn’t have to worry about being too loud or disturbing other diners.

Food tastes great and the girls always give you excellent service. The fish and shrimp I had were perfectly grilled. It's Mexican food, but not mexican. As with other restaurants, food costs have increased in recent years. I paid 9.28 tips for the seafood bowl, but I was cheated when they broke out the bowl, was only about half the size of the Chipotle's. That is, food value is not the main reason visit. You have nice staff and many people enjoy a beer or two drink. Also this location is not as hectic as its location on PCH in Sunset, which is beautiful when you are hungry and want to eat quickly.

Great live music! We love the food here and enjoy the live music. Party Jones is the Sunset Beach House Band, but also acoustic sets here in Westminster! Best Cover Band in So Cal. Burritos are excellent, fish tacos are also highly recommended. Chile Relleno is another winner! I like the wings here too, they're legit.

Friendly employees who are on top of things....more salsa and chips appear as soon as we get the first bowl...yummy salsa! My husband got Armando's bowl he gave three stars. I had street tacos and a cup of pool Verde, which was 3.75 stars. Our server Taylor was lovely and we loved the salsa so I defeated my review.

The service is outstanding, and the food is fantastic. We've visited at least three times so far, and each time, the staff consistently delivers exceptional service. The food is excellent, and the prices are just right. This has become our go-to place, and we couldn't be happier!
