Contribute Feedback What Casey Haralson doesn't like about Himalayan Curry House:
I 'm going to have to say this wasn 't very good. The chicken Tika masala was only passing. The nan was awful. It was kind of thick and didn 't seem cooked all the way. The lamb biryani was pretty good. I got the regular versions of the meals and maybe it needed to be spicier to be better? View all feedback.
$70 later for 2 entrees and a side of Naan. The Naan was raw and sweet. Not fluffy with garlic and butter like I ordered. The food was bland. It was so disappointing ?.Food: 1/5
Ate there 3 years ago with my family. The food was similar to what I grew up eating as a kid of Indian ancestry. I loved it. We didn't eat there on this trip.
Ordered chai and veg momo. Chai did not have a lot of flavor and was too much sugar. Momo was not great either since the filling/stuffing was not much but the outer layer was thick and uncooked in some of them.
Staff is nice, but not very knowledgable. I asked what could be done as vegan and she started talking about chicken!Once I got that cleared up, the dish I ordered was quite tasty. However, I'm not sure I'd go back due to lingering worries about their understanding of veganism. My dining companion ordered a soup combo thinking she'd get try 3 soups, but it's served with all 3 soups in 1 bowl! WHAT? When pressed, the server refused to bring them in separate bowls, but she did remove them from the bill and quickly brought an alternative, which I'm told was quite good.
This was my first time having Himalayan food. The food was decent, good flavor and adequate portion sizes (small appetites can share). The atmosphere was not that great. We stood inside for about 5 minutes before someone came out of the back and noticed us. The same song was played on repeat for the entire meal which did become tedious.
