What Trung H doesn't like about Chez Rose Cafeteria:
Came by to have a coffee after finished up my service at the i Salon near by. The owner did not bother to take my order since she was busy of talking with her known customers !? ... Lot of folks smoked, so it was a little convenience for no longer smoking folks like myself. View all feedback.
We stopped by on a scorching afternoon craving some sour plum soda, and we ended up with much more than we expected. The friendly woman at the counter surprised us with complimentary iced tea while we relaxed on the patio, waiting for our drinks. It was a lovely setting, especially in the shade, with some older Vietnamese gentlemen engaged in a board game (perhaps a Vietnamese version of Go?). Overall, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the drink selection was impressive, featuring coffee, iced tea, and fresh fruit sodas. Treat yourself and visit this gem! I’m giving it 5 stars for the warmth of the person who took our order, the delicious drinks, and to balance out the 3-star reviews. This place serves as a neighborhood gathering spot rather than striving for Yelp or Instagram fame, so keep that in mind when you visit.
I stopped by for a coffee after finishing my service at the nearby salon. Unfortunately, the owner was too busy chatting with regular customers to take my order. Additionally, there were quite a few people smoking, which was inconvenient for someone like me who doesn't smoke.
This charming little Vietnamese restaurant has an authentic atmosphere, with older gentlemen gathered outside, playing Chinese chess and smoking. My friend and I stopped by for a couple of quick drinks. The Thai Tea was simply a pre-made 9.5 oz bottle from Taste Nirvana, which is commonly available in supermarkets; all the server did was open it and pour it over ice. The Soda Xi Muoi was just a couple of Vietnamese preserved plums tossed into carbonated water, possibly with a hint of sugar. The lack of effort put into these simple drinks made us hesitant to order any food, especially since the Vietnamese sandwiches were priced slightly higher than at other places, at $5 each.
The owner So mean lost teaching why so many Vietnamese people come to a civilized country but trade in the style of selling fish in Vietnam, it's really heartbreaking.
Good breakfast. I had white porridge with 2 salted egg for $4. The problem is everyone eating or drinking tea or coffee and they are smoking.
