I could not believe that the quality of the food comes from this kitchen. I really don't expect much from hotel restaurants and I was very surprised and enthusiastic. I had jam on rosti with pan fried vegetables and plant sauce. that was absolutely delicious! the duck was nicely tender and the sweet was cooked to perfection. the plum sauce was so beautiful that I asked for more. my man was very jealous of the rosti that was delicious again. he had the filetsteak, rare, back to perfection with potato gratin, tomaten, asparagus and mushroom sauce. we are from the united kingdom and have tours around perth, brisbane, sydney, the blue mountains, canberra, melbourne, the great ocean road, warrnambool and back to melbourne and I must say that this restaurant shares top place with a Thai meal that we had in katoomba. well made to the chefs at pk’s. we leave Australia tomorrow and it is a good opportunity to finish our holiday.
I couldn't believe the quality of food coming out of this kitchen. I really don't expect much from hotel restaurants and I was extremely surprised and delighted. I had duck confit on rosti with pan fried vegetables and plum sauce. This was absolutely delicious! The duck was beautifully tender and the vegetables were cooked to perfection. The plum sauce was so nice I asked for more. My husband was very jealous of the rosti which again was delicious. He had the fillet steak, rare, again cooked to perfection with potato gratin, tomatoes, asparagus and a mushroom sauce. We're from the UK and have been touring around Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, The Blue Mountains, Canberra, Melbourne, The Great Ocean Road, Warrnambool and back to Melbourne and I have to say this restaurant shares top place with a Thai meal we had in Katoomba. Well done to the chefs at PK's. We're leaving Australia tomorrow and it's a great way to finish our holiday.
