Kroger Bakery - Westland

The last straw was during the Christmas season a year ago when I ordered a standing rib roast for dinner at half price. When my husband picked up the groceries, the roast was missing, even though it was listed on my receipt. I called customer service, and the representative assured me that it was in the cooler with my name on it. I sent my husband back to the busy store to retrieve our holiday roast, but when he arrived, they charged him for it again! After several frustrating calls, each time speaking with someone new, I finally gave up. There was no apology, no refund, nothing. I decided to take a break from ordering but eventually returned to it because I am in a wheelchair and shopping in-store is uncomfortable for me. For the past six months, though, every time I tried to place an order, I was told that I had to pay inside because their payment machine was broken. Really? If that’s the case, you’ve had six months to get a new one. Fast forward to today: I sent my husband to pick up a simple order. The store called at 1:30 PM to inform me they were behind and asked me to come around 3 or 4 PM instead. That was the final straw for me, and I canceled the order. Sadly, Kroger has now made my list of stores to avoid. Despite giving them months of chances due to my long history of being a satisfied customer, I think it’s time to move on.

Cakes are delicious, I've had dozens from here over the years, nothing but perfection. I buy all my cakes here. The staff is friendly and helpful. I usually get the German chocolate cake but the caramel cake is my favorite.

Ordered speacial cake for granddaughters bday at warren middlebelt. When i picked it up they stated they do not make cakes there I showed her the picture of online order they took on line at that store. She stated someone should have notified me. Adked for manager was told they were not there. Had to leave find a birthday cake. Unexceptable!!!! Horrible service stay away fro there!!!

Awful experience! I loaded up six bags of bottles into my cart and even picked up some trash in the parking lot on my way in. Once I got inside, the bottle return doors wouldn’t open. I had to leave my bottles behind and walk halfway through the store to find someone to help. The staff member I spoke to had no idea why the return wasn’t open and had to ask someone else, who was equally clueless. After about ten minutes, a kid came in from outside and informed me that the bottle return closes at 6:00 PM. But where’s the sign to let customers know that? He didn’t know either. I'm really frustrated. If the staff is unaware of the hours, how are customers supposed to figure it out?

Where's all the carts at? Trash all over. Employees aren't friendly. Hardly ever stocked. They have 2 aisle's of self checkout but they only use one, so always a long line to checkout. If you need assistance at checkout, it's like you ruined their day for asking. They seriously need to just close this location at middlebelt/warren
