Bamboo Garden - Westland

This is one of my favorite little places in the Westland area. They are mostly consistent for the items I get and the service has always been great. At one point in time I probably ate here 3 times a week and they always remembered my order!

I ordered a 3 chicken egg rolls and they tasted like fish ? ?I threw it all away I thought I wouldn't try this place out because I always pass it on the way home it was dirty inside but honestly most Chinese take out are which is why I stop ordering Chinese food !!

I always order late it’s always fresh! The shrimp lovers roll the salmon sashimi are soo good ! Everything we have ordered is good. I wish they were open till 10:00pm but at least round here where nothing is open late it’s open till 9:30. The man at the counter is always kind. Parking: Plenty of parking. Busy lot and well lit.

I have never been so disrespected by a business. I never write bad reviews, this is my first time giving anyone one star. I've been a dedicated customer, it's the only place I've gotten sushi in years. I will never be ordering again after the way I was spoken to when I called back to let them know the cashier did not ring me up for one of the rolls I ordered for delivery. I was told he listened to the recording and I didn't say it, argued with me and spoke down to me. Recording calls without customers knowledge is illegal,and I had 2 people that witnessed me place the order, the lady on the phone was struggling and I had to repeat my order and address multiple times, which I did kindly. I hung up and the worker called me back twice, to which I told him again I will not be ordering the food and how unprofessional this was and hung up. I worked in food service my whole working life and I cannot imagine speaking to anyone that way.

The food is excellent and the staff friendly and courteous but I’ll NEVER eat there again PERIOD! I just watched the owner/Chef walking up to the door blowing his nose on his hands and wiping them on his pants! NO MISTAKING what I saw! DISGUSTING!
