Sangria Y Tapas - Westlake

I have lived in Westlake for over two years, and was not here... let me tell you what was a mistake... this place is amazing!! I didn't expect it!! The staff was great, my waiter had the PERFECT personality for customer service, the ambience was great, and the food... ohh the food... I'm not a fan of seafood, so I did a steak well... it came out perfectly! And the mushroom wine reduction was amazing! I wanted to lick my plate! My friends ordered the seafood stew and I have to admit the sauce was great! The filled banana peppers tasted like those who made my grandma!! I can't rave enough here! Lemonchello and espresso for dessert... I'm so full... I will dedicate my left very soon!!

Tonight I had an amazing culinary experience at the Sangria Y Tapas and Bar restaurant. Spanish Portuguese cuisine, family style. Talk about something good! All we had was delicious. Scalia scallops and shrimps with crab meat and cheese, fish tacos, seafood filled salmon, apple blossom Martini and pistachios cheesecake. So divine.. The service was impeccable. 5 stars above the board. Thanks Vladimir for the invitation.

My husband and went to Sangria with my brother and sister-in-law while visiting Cleveland. What a super decision! This restaurant gets 5 out of 5 via the board. Expert staff, so friendly and knowledgeable. Very friendly, but not at the expense of professionalism. The food was wonderful. There were so many ways that it was hard to decide both Spanish/Portuguese and more American style choices. We started with frozen strawberry margaritas, which were very refreshing. We then chose hot tapas plates from Carpaccio de Carne with Manchego cheese and grilled octopus. Sukkulent. My husband and I also had the garlic soup that was delicious and perfectly seasoned. Main elections were Rib-Augen-Steak, a feast of the sea plate, baby rack of lamb, and a meat sample plate. Something about everything was cooked for perfection, although the medium-sized steak was cooked a little more on the middle side, while still delicate and juicy. The sections were plentiful and very satisfying. Unfortunately, we had no room for Dessert. But to our surprise our waiter brought free glasses of Portuguese port wine after dinner! It was perfect. Smooth and tasteful and the perfect way to finish this evening. This was really a night, an experience to remember a dinner... We will return.

Update: Food is decent. The service is very slow. Homemade chips were amazing. Wife loved the lunch menu. Great food! Look at this place.

First time visitor and I was very impressed with this establishment from the get go! My wife and I walked in and boom, a waiter was polite and ready to seat us. We sat on the patio to enjoy the summer air, but the inside was so welcoming! We walked outside to find a cozy back patio with flowers and sunshine. The patio also comes equipped with a covered bar to enjoy a game while you sip your beverage. My wife ordered a few apps while I enjoyed the stuffed salmon! Her appetizers were so good and my salmon was delicious! This place definitely impressed me and the service was great! If you have Marco helping you then you're in good hands. They have plenty of appetizers, hot foods and cold foods. The most expensive item that I saw was $29 for a seafood option, but they have plenty of other options. Check this place out, you'll be pleasantly surprised.
