Great place! The pancakes are huge and very fluffy. The sausage was really rich and bacon was extra smoky. Coffee was nothing great but it sufficed. Service was very friendly. I would recommend getting a waitress's attention as soon as you sit down to get your ticket in. View all feedback.
My first time there, will be an annual family event. Friendly staff and wonderful to see the process of making maple syrup and eating pancakes ? at the same time.Food: 5/5
For 6 weeks a year, Steve's brings that end of winter feeling home with large community style tables, homemade syrup, pancakes, French toast and more. They love to share the syrup making process with anyone who listens and welcome everyone they can. No reservations, first come first serve, so get there 30-40 minutes before you want to eat, but people are generally respectful and move through quickly knowing everyone wants to eat the delicious food and learn about syrup. Definitely a must visit for the area if you're here in March/early April!
Great place to get local syrup. Steve is great with kids and he'll show everyone how they make the syrup!
First time we visit and it was so awesome my son is 6 years old and he was so exited and how Steve explain the process of making the maple syrup and the passion he has for it it’s just incredible. This won’t be the last time we visit this great place.
Highly recommend Steve's Sugar Shack as a welcoming authentic sugar shack experience. Beautifully maintained rustic setting with friendly staff .Steve and crew enjoy sharing information and answering questions regarding the process of creating maple products. Gluten-free pancakes for my wife and daughter an additional plus. Doesn't get any better! Treat yourself to this unique western Mass experience. Enjoy!
