What User likes about Solstice:
Great local place with a casual friendly vibe. Comfort food featuring local farm to table. Even the beers were all from the MIdwest. Staff could not be friendlier. Shrimp and grits, po-boy and fried chicken were all excellent. Can't wait to come back for the bread pudding dessert. View all feedback. What User doesn't like about Solstice:
Great food. Great service. But last times I've been there with my significant other, the owner's or chef's wife and kids are hanging out in one of the tables all night and the kids are loud, walking around the restaurant, and dropping food on floor. The menu presents a mix of appealing comfort foods, from shrimp and grits to creative sandwiches, all garnished with fresh, seasonal produce. While service can occasionally be slow and some portions may feel modest, diners appreciate the friendly staff and pleasant ambiance. Highlighting a commitment to local sourcing, the restaurant also features an impressive coffee selection and a thoughtful, albeit limited, drinks menu. Patrons leave with a desire to return, particularly for brunch, despite minor critiques regarding portion sizes and atmosphere.
