What Franco A doesn't like about Pulpit Rock Wine:
Stunning views, great craft gin cocktail, sadly the burger was disappointing, the Ciabatta was as tough as nails, when pointed out to the serving person, we were told, “we aware of the problem, the supplier made a mistake, this is the last of the bad batch”, What??? Seriously this is just bad on so many levels. Sadly you had this one opportunity to impress and allow me to refer my friends to a place, but you spoiled... View all feedback.

This is a gem in the Swartland, Riebeek Wes. They look very unassuming, but once you go in and experience their wines, you wont be disappointed. They make a lot of good value for money wines. Lots of medal winners. There are not a lot of places you can pick up a good bottle of wine at these prices, under R100. They also sell a few other foody stuffs, jams, olive oil, mustard sauce, etc and they sell meat which is also quite affordable.
Lovely red wines. They sell meats and olive oil and a few other things. The bacon jam they sell is amazing.
Great wines, nice location and friendly people.... Also selling lots of other goods from the surrounding areas… Definetly try the Merlot… A wine with backbone, fruit and well balanced tannins… Another secret is the Shiraz; wonderful wine with great potential… But find out yourself, take the drive out there, explore the valley and have a winetasting before you load up your boot…
Friendly staff…free wine tasting with a beautiful view. What more do you want?
