In all the years we've been going to Darling we hadn't visited Ormonde, and Oh what a sin! This estate is beautiful, the wines are delicious and the platter for 2 was shared amongst 4 of us, it was delicious and great value for money. What Euline J doesn't like about Ormonde Private Cellar:
A place we will never go to again, upon arrival, we were told our music were too loud,ok totally understandable but then we were given all sorts of what nots to do, like we can't selfies inside because of don't know what and just there we decide not to go inside because we felt unwelcomed. Wonderful experience for us as parents and the kids
Great place! Suitable for whole family plus my kid, nieces and nephews had a blast picking their own strawberries.
Together with Werner Edling of Edling Weingut in Rossdorf Germany we all had an excellent experience with Luca in his wine yard, cellar and finishing off with a lekker tasting of 3 Merlot variety.
We had an excellent tour of the vineyard and the cellar by Luca — if you love Merlot you must come here. Note that Bein is only open by appointment.
