Very overpriced for starters and salads. Quiet at lunch so lacks atmosphere. Chicken livers needed a lot of salt.

Food not great very expensive for a Caesar salad R200 that had only lettuce 5 croutons and 5pieces of chicken. Waitress not well informed on what was in plates. A caprese salad of 6slices of mozarella and 9slices of tomatoes cost r150 hectic. Manager not very customer orientated.

We had such a stunning dinner here over the festive season. The menu is small and consists of a few signature dishes. There is no liquor license yet so we were able to bring our own bottle of wine. The steak was phenomenal, as was the katsu curry. The highlight for me was the crème brûlée! This is a must do while you are in Tulbagh. If the weather is nice — sit outside!

I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant in Tulbagh over the weekend, and I can only say one thing — WOW!!!! This charming diner deserves a spot on everyone's bucket list. The hosts, Eric and David, are simply fantastic, going above and beyond to make you feel like part of the Daphne's family. The staff are friendly, kind, and exceptionally focused on providing great service. The mountain views are breathtaking, and the food is absolutely divine! The chilled pea-and-coconut dish was truly extraordinary. I've never tasted anything so incredible in my life!
