Contribute FeedbackThe menu has changed and is now much better than in the previous years. past are the toast hawaii and the pommes with mayo, replaced by a very nice menu of intl chars and local cuisine. ideal for skiers to meet walkers for lunch, as it is at the lower edge of the pisten near westendorf. from the village to the foot is abbot 30-40 minutes.
At the lower end of the long red/blue run on the far side of westendorf. a bit of a kick to get there. but they're worth it. we had the place for us. late season Sunday afternoon. apart from three children ski schools. classes that sat quietly in the far away. after a while they went out to play in the snow and we really had it for ourselves. especially for the day are fresh pork roast with sour wort and 10€95. are you not speaking German? it is pork in gravur with spiced cauliflower and a large hearty empty. very good, too. thick discs pork, tender enough to cut with a spoon. delicious. my wife had homemade apfelstrudel with ice and vanilla sauce. she was somewhat disappointed by the ice cream, not as good as last time she was made from her own milk cows.
Das Restaurant hat ein tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis; hier kann man bodenständige Gerichte zu sehr fairen Preisen direkt an der Piste essen. Wer hier oben am Hang wohnt, kann sich hier einen ruhigen Abend nach langem Skitag machen. Kein kulinarischer Höhenflug, aber grundsolide Küche.
Nicht nur die sehr überzeugende Küche und Bewirtung sondern auch die Pension in einem alten Bauernhaus nebenan haben uns jetzt zum 2. Mal sehr überzeugt. Wärmste Empfehlung!
Die Küche und Gastfreundschaft sind mega! Reinkommen und wohlfühlen! Immer wieder gern und absolut empfehlenswert!
