This time, everything tasted heavily of the oil the food w... read more I’m a local and have always enjoyed the food at Borgens Cafe until my last two visits with my family. This time, everything tasted heavily of the oil the food was fried in, and the dishes were cold, as if they had been sitting out for a while. Customers who arrived well after us were served before we were. Our waitress only refilled our coffee after we asked; otherwise, we wouldn’t have gotten one. She seemed stressed and lacked friendliness, making the experience unpleasant. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.
