This spacious restaurant offers stunning views and a lovely atmosphere, beautifully designed to resemble an old ship. The overall ambiance is fantastic! I thoroughly enjoyed the fresh shellfish, which paired wonderfully with a splash of lemon. My husband was enamored with the lobster bisque; it was rich and creamy. However, we did notice that our waitress seemed eager to move us along, which felt a bit odd since the restaurant was far from busy. Despite this, we were still able to savor our delicious meals while soaking in the beautiful views. The only downside for me was that I couldn't order any of the soups on the menu, as they all contained cream, and unfortunately, they didn’t have lactose-free options due to my intolerance.
I've been dining at this restaurant for 20 years, and it remains a great place to eat. We stopped by for dinner, hoping to enjoy some good seafood. We started with fried mozzarella and buffalo wings. My wife ordered lobster, my niece had salmon, I enjoyed baked stuffed shells, and my son opted for steak. Everything was excellent. The location is 681 Route 28, West Yarmouth, MA.
I had a pleasant dining experience here. The customer service was excellent, and they serve fantastic cocktails. My only critique is that the food was a bit pricey (though that's to be expected for seafood in a tourist area), and it was just good rather than exceptional. The food was certainly tasty, but not outstanding. However, the presentation on the large plates was impressive.
Great atmosphere and atmosphere at Lobster Boat. Many tables inside and we had very fast service, although it was busy. Her Clam Chowder is one of the best in the area (I still think Captain Parker is the best) but her is also very good. Menu has a great variety, is usually quite expensive, but felt it worth at the end. Steak and lobster were nicely cooked, drink was also delicious! I look forward to returning here the next time I'm on the Cape!
We were seated much more quickly then anticipated and had a great view on the outside deck. My hot buttered lobster roll was pretty good although a bit pricey. Not sure why it had lettuce on it so I took that off. The clam chowder was excellent and my son enjoyed his clam strips. My wife thought her fish was too salty however. We would definitely go back though.
