Stores of this size with no one in them give me pause… how can they possibly survive? But sometimes, the less the merrier. The store was pretty empty of customers on a dreary Saturday afternoon but was otherwise pleasant and serene. Many helpful workers and tons of merch to choose from. Many items not found in other B&N stores. View all feedback.
Sally noticed me looking around and kindly offered her assistance. She quickly located all the books on my list and even ordered one to be shipped to my home. On top of that, she applied an amazing coupon that I wasn't even aware of, in addition to my membership discount. Having such helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable staff is a true asset, especially nowadays! Just so you know, she mentioned that they want to encourage customers to return to the store, and with service like this, I definitely will.
It's a paradise for book lovers! They offer a wide variety of books, and the staff is friendly, quiet, and exceptionally organized.
Spacious stores with hardly any customers make me wonder how they manage to stay afloat. However, sometimes a quieter environment can be a blessing. On a gloomy Saturday afternoon, the store was mostly empty, but it offered a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. There were plenty of friendly staff available to assist, and a wide selection of merchandise to browse through, including many unique items not typically found in other Barnes & Noble locations.
I love Barnes and Noble! One of my favorite things to do is find a bunch of interesting magazines and books, and then go through them at a cafe table with a pastry and a drink for sustenance. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I particularly enjoy the craft, art, travel, and biography sections, which offer great variety and get new titles regularly. They seem to have almost every book under the sun, and if by chance you are looking for something really arcane, they can order it for you and it arrives really promptly! No prepayment necessary. I also love their magazines, which range from the staid (Good Housekeeping) to the really weird (High Fructose, and of course, Weird NJ). They also have nifty toys, gifts, jigsaw puzzles, games, DVDs, you name it.
Love going to B&N! It's a very pleasant place to sit and read or have a snack and a beverage. There are outlets near the dining tables, should you wish to charge your device. It gets pretty busy so it's not always easy to find a table.
