My wife and I visited the Lot 12 Public House last night to celebrate our Anniversary and were very glad we did! We happened to come during the Apple Butter Festival, so the had a price fixed menu, but the selections were awesome. I had the Duck Confit wings with a apple butter bbq sauce to start, followed by the pecan encrusted mahi mahi with a butternut squash risotto. The wings were fall off the bone tender and th... What Joseph P doesn't like about Lot 12 Public House:
Quite disappointing! Appetizers: Steak Tartare was mynute with a tasty aioli and some fresh horseradish. The balsamic glaze was totally unecessary. It overpowered the aioli. I assume it was to enhance the dish eye appeal… Didn't Fried Green Tomatoes were very over coated. The tomato was lost in the coating. Absolutely phenomenal. From the wait staff to the amazing appetizers and salads to the main course, this was hands down one of the best meal experiences I’ve ever had. We have been long time visitors to Berkley Springs but this was our first time at Lot 12 Public House and it will now be a staple. I cannot say enough great things about how much we loved our experience and cannot wait to come back!
Great food. Seating a bit close but it’s a small house.
Fantastic experience. Filet mignon was incredible. Country fried beef tenderloin is to die for! Then the dreamsicle creme brulee! You must go. No question about it

They were busy, but we did not fe … – show
This was easily the best upscale meal my husband and I have had in months. My swordfish special was on point with incredible mashed potatoes. The Andouille/shrimp skewers were tasty and juicy. My husband loved his seafood fettuccine with its creamy, but not overwhelming sauce. Our server was warm and real. This was a lovely dinner in a comfortable, unpretentious setting.
