There are many places across the North shore that will do you a great burger and beer and Inn Cogneto is right up with the best. The rather tired interior speaks to their longevity but the menu, while simple, is not tired. We visited Inn Cogneato for quick lunch on the way. I liked the interior and its atmosphere, it was more like the pub than restaurant. Among the items in the menu the Souvlaki is more popular especially for Iranian because they are more Persian Kebab rather than the original Souvlaki. I liked the Kebab and also the Hungarian Chicken.All in all I guess everything was good, but could be even better. View all feedback.
Value and friendliness in an unpretentious little cafe. Menu is amazingly good, and wholesome comfort food, with daily specials. Have been there many times and never been disappointed. Usually am surprised by how really good a simple meal can be. Chicken sandwich has interesting spices on a focaccio style home made bread. Soups are great. Salads fresh. Service efficient. coffee good, and they have draft beer.
Great little gem. We decided to give this place a shot and left impressed. Great service and food. Great quality for your dollar. I def recommend if you are in need of some good old fashion food for the soul.
Pasta d'Casa is one of those meals that calls to me every few weeks and I need to get it. (A Tomahawk breakfast has the same effect on me) It is a family run business and if you go there more than once you will be remembered. Wife likes the kabobs and daughter the pizza. Burger is great. I enjoy the omelets, but my wife finds them a little dry. Anywhoo, blah blah blah. I like the restaurant and I imagine you will too.
I really liked the experience, the owner was friendly and attentive, i ordered the greek pizza and it was great the ingredients were fresh.
We love dining at Inn Cogneato once a week. It's our favorite spot for casual dining with delicious food, friendly service, clean premises, and unbeatable value. Our favorite dish is the lamb kabobs - they're the best!
