Carmelo's Italiano - West Vancouver

The food was quite bland and lacked any distinctiveness. It seemed like there weren't enough staff members available, as the service was slow. Consequently, the mediocre dishes arrived lukewarm and rubbery. The lasagna in particular was difficult to enjoy.

Absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, we had a wonderful experience. I was torn between two pizzas, so I asked the waitress for advice, and she offered to make a half-and-half pizza, which was such a thoughtful touch. The spicy dip that accompanied the pizza was delicious as well. The food arrived quickly and was both authentic and tasty. My partner ordered the focaccia and linguine de mer, and he rated it 5 out of 5. I highly recommend this place!

Excellent evening meal, first time visit and couldn't decide on what to have the menu was so interesting. Settled on Piccata Di Vitello and it was so delicious. Portions were a perfect size and all four of us will be going back.

We visited Carmelo’s for the first time and had a pleasant experience. The food was quite good—I recommend the lamb, and everyone who ordered pasta seemed satisfied. The cocktails were decent, although I would advise against the old fashioned. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but they seemed a bit overwhelmed with too many tables, which left us waiting for service occasionally. Overall, it was a nice experience for this type of restaurant, but we felt that the prices didn't quite align with the level of service provided.
