Food is great ! A true gem of comfort food . Healthy and hearty. The waitress ate very genuine and lovely , just the place can get a bit cold but other than that I’d highly recommend this bistro. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 View all feedback.
What Soefae Chen doesn't like about Ssal Korean Bistro:
The servers were quite bored as they greeted us. Instead of giving the three side dishes to each of the three who ordered them, they gave only two of the three and told them to share. The house salad that I ordered was okay for the price, but it was very liquid. I think the udon was better though. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch View all feedback.

Very warm greeting from both of the nice Korean waitresses as my Lady Friend and I entered Ssal Korean Bistro . I was very pleased with the layout of the menu and the choices available. I had Miso soup, Kim Chi Bugogi and she had Soon Du Boo (Spicy Tofu Soup). They brang me frequent reloads of the Korean Pickles (Kim Chi) etc which was my favourite part so I really loved having refills of that. They were nice to check if we needed anything frequently. We had tea. It was awesome. I wonder which to try there next time?! You have to be odd to be #1. If you Love something cherish it cause you don't know what you had until you've lost it. ...and you've lost me.
Reina was just absolutely lovely! We asked for her recommendations and she did not disappoint. The husband is gluten intolerant and she checked in with the kitchen and was able to accomodate. I had the spicy gal bi with a side of rice, and the husband got the stone bowl bibimbap with tamari on the side. The gal bi portion was generous and scrumptious I crushed the entire plate. She offered to bring out more of the side dishes (kimchi, picked radish, sprouts, etc) but we didn't need it. I really enjoyed the food, and would most definitely return to try other things on the menu. The service was outstanding; Reina made the experience even better! My only regret was not taking photos to share!
