What User doesn't like about Maverik Adventure's First Stop:
My wife bought $5 worth of things there at the self-control and it charged her $179 to the tap feature! Fortunately, the lady said when I said it was definitely a mistake and said to call the customer service line to solve it, but the entire customer service line told me that it was a kind of stupid three-way voucher with Maverik and the bank card company and that we need to wait a day or two for the transaction to o... My wife bought $5 worth of things there at the self-control and it charged her $179 to the tap feature! Fortunately, the lady said when I said it was definitely a mistake and said to call the customer service line to solve it, but the entire customer service line told me that it was a kind of stupid three-way voucher with Maverik and the bank card company and that we need to wait a day or two for the transaction to only delete $5 instead of $179. Worst policy. We're never gonna go shopping here again. At least not with self-control.

We have a maverick fleet account and my MAVERICK fleet card is a 50/50 shot on each pump when you come here. The pumps constantly refuse to accept. Coffee is not very good to start with, but above, they are extremely inconsistent. Sometimes no cups, sometimes no coffee, no straws, most common is no cream. The food is not terrible, but for the gas station food, it is overpriced for quality. Maverick used to be a beautiful place, but they are getting worse and worse than the years over.
I'd give it zero stars if I could the store is nice and most of the people working there are great but finding out that they really don't care about there employees make me dislike this store ive contacted hr about a issue that is going on with a employee and they didn't even really care about the other employees that is one has hurt mentally and emotionally they made the people it effected fell that they we're at fault so I guess from I contact a lawyer and pursue legal action
