I don't know what the other review is talking about. It can be a very different place, because this is a small city motto. This institution shall award standards in every aspect; Sub-sandwiche, hand tosed, deep-dish, thin-crust, plus all different cheese / dessert broth. Top-notch and I would order here about Marcos or elsewhere in the area. My personal favorite is the Pizza Sub, best I ever had! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Pizza Oven:
We ordered pizza and bread sticks last night and it wasn't good at all. The crust on the pizza should be deep dish I asked if she made a deep dish crust, and the person who took my call said yes) the crust ended hand sat and was dry as a tree bark and was overcooked. The only reason we had to order from them is that the selection is limited here. If we had more choices, we would never order pizza from this place. View all feedback.
I'm not sure what the other review is referring to. This might be a different experience for them, but in my opinion, this is a gem in our small town. This place excels in every category—from subs to hand-tossed pizzas, deep-dish to thin-crust, and a variety of cheeses and dessert options. Everything is top-notch, and I would choose to order from here over Marcos or any other place in the area. My personal favorite is the Pizza Sub; it's the best I've ever had!
Last night, we ordered pizza and breadsticks, and unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. I specifically requested a deep-dish crust, and the person who took my call confirmed they could provide that. However, the crust we received was dry and overcooked, resembling tree bark rather than the deep dish I expected. The limited dining options in our area forced us to choose this restaurant, but if we had more choices, we definitely wouldn’t order from here again.
