On arrival just before six pm, we were given a key and told where our room was. First impression was favorably clean and after a long drive, very welcome. We had pre booked a meal with some friends for seven pm and made our way to the restaurant on time. The first person we saw was the same one who booked us in, but he forgot to tell us where the table was. After half an hour's wait we found the owner who was waiting... View all feedback.

We went twice first time (Monday 13 July) just for a drink, then again the next day for a bite to eat. Service was quick and friendly, and food was hot, good and plenty of it. Himself had the burger which was ENORMOUS ...
A very nice, friendly local pub, with good food and atmosphere. have been here several times and will be going again soon I hope
Really friendly staff who were super friendly. Food was delicious and the Onion rings were divine! Lovely place to stop for a post steam train ride and a short walk away from the steam train station at Williton.
Lovely pub, staff pleasant, nice with the rooms being detached from the main pub.. plenty of parking all in all good but apart from the breakfast with i believe had been cooked earlier and then kept warm..
I write this review in hope the owners read, respond and improve! Previously a great place to visit great atmosphere and good home cooked food. Our last visit was not up to standard. Atmosphere good as always, the food was awful we ordered gammon, fish chips and steak. Gammon steak were fine. Chips and battered fish were awful, so greasy hardly anyone could eat the food. So greasy was the food no one felt particularly great the next day.
