What DavidWxxx likes about Lewis's Tearooms:
Only stopped for a coffee, a really good roast, lots of taste delicious and mellow rather than harsh and bitter. Service was good and it was relaxing. Bought some rough cider but it tasted like it could be put on chips. The coffee 5 dots the cider a lucky 2 dots but overall a 4 View all feedback. What nicolarH4105SM doesn't like about Lewis's Tearooms:
Stopped here for a quick cuppa, crumpet and scone. It took 10 minutes to be served, 10 minutes for tea and coffee to arrive which we had finished before any food arrived. After 30 minutes I cancelled the food. I presume it was the owner in the kitchen who was extremely unprofessional when being told by waitress to cancel the order. Nice place to stop for a lunch, very good indeed. Food quality is great but if busy service can be a tad slow but worth waiting for.

read moreLewis's Tea Rooms offers a quaint atmosphere and a varied menu, making it a popular stop for families and dog owners. While the food, including tasty artisan pizzas and generous portions, received praise, service issues plagued many visitors. Long waits for drinks and meals, and instances of unprofessional behavior from staff dampened the experience. Despite this, some found solace in the warm decor and enjoyable coffee. Attentive, though occasionally overwhelmed, staff tried to make the dining experience pleasant. Overall, this tea room has potential but could benefit from improved service training to enhance customer satisfaction.
