As part of our September holiday we went to the Ship for our Sunday evening meal. Service was good but failed to get correct items twice and had to change these. Food was good and tasty and good for the cost Good ales on offer which is always a bonus. Overall solid nothing outstanding View all feedback.
What Baby04manor doesn't like about Ship Inn:
Terrible service, terrible food. Ordered starters, initially brought out 1 item that was wrong. Had to wait as no cutlery was given either. Pigeon was on special board, tiny portion and tough as leather ! Soup was cold. Finished and waiter asked if we wanted to see pudding menu ?! Both had steaks, edible but chewy. Plates were really hot but cooked tomatoes were stone cold. Not an enjoyable evening and definitely not... View all feedback.
Hi Cas and Royston, thank you so much for a lovely Christmas. you went above and beyond for us. so looking forward to next year, but hoping that we will be able to see you before that. stay safe xxxx
As always the staff are so friendly, food is the best and beer is so good. This is the pub people should always try for a warm welcome
Great food service The bbq ribs were amazing ???? we have rebooked to come back again Friday night!
Excellent service, professional and such a friendly landlord that knows how to run a pub so well. Well trained staff, efficient and knowledgeable, great food, always a great selection of local beers and ciders. Highly recommended! Often there is music, and there are regular quizzes when not under Covid 19 regulations.
Cracking beer and lovely food ???? A great lunch before the walk home. The range of real ales is impressive and very well kept.
