The lunch buffet here is by far the best I've had in Sacramento, others don't come close in terms of variety and flavor. Properly good Indian food, well worth driving across town. View all feedback.
What Patty Fong doesn't like about Pooja Indian Grill:
Good selection of food: lamb, goat, chicken, vegetarian dishes, two rice variety, fresh made naan, tea, mango ice cream, fresh lettuce and fruit, etc. Buffet available only for lunch, and on Saturdays. New owner since 2023? Yet same cook. Pointed out to cashier food was barely warm for few dishes at 2.26.24 lunch buffet. View all feedback.
Great food, you gotta try the garbanzo beans, lamb, goat. Chicken, naan, and the mango ice cream are always good.

A solid spot for lunch in West Sacramento. Good variety of vegetarian and meat dishes on the lunch buffet. The biryani is alway good, butter chicken is a staple and always pleases, and the goat curry is fantastic. I also like the chai on tap and the mango ice cream.
I think most people probably come for their buffet which is quite good and has a good variety of items. All the items I had were tasty. Tea was included in the buffet and I was pleasantly surprised. The mango ice soft serve looked good but lacked any mango flavor. Would go back.
